Bridesmaid Dresses?

Does anyone have their bridesmaid dresses picked out yet? Or have a top contender? I'm going next Saturday with my girls and need some inspiration. I haven't found any I really love yet. Post some pictures

I, like you, hadn't found any that i absolutely loved. I was sure that I did NOT want to have strapless, only because 3 of my 5 bridesmaid have DD's or larger. And I also am that size, so I was am very aware about how uncomfortable women can be in strapless. But I found this one, and I love it!!! I have taken all of my bridesmaids to look and try it on, and they all love it! YAY! best yet, it has pockets!

They all LOVE the pockets! The colors will be Spa and Tahiti. We are waiting to order anything due to my MOH being pregnant.

I'm still picking out my dress so I haven't really picked out one for my BMs. I do know however that it will be blue or green (or 1/2 wear one and 1/2 wear another) and knee length. I'm also going to let them pick their dress and just send me a pick of them in it since they all live far away from me.

I think I'll definitely wait a little longer until we start looking at BM dresses...probably around September or October. I am realy leaning towards JCrew dress in a champagne color so it's more versatile, so I might have to wait until they come out with their Spring Bridal collection.

I'm psycho, and started looking at dresses right away. The girls also sent me e-mails of dresses they liked, and we ended up finding one that all of the girls liked and it looked good on them. I was torn on whether to wait it out or let them order it, but it is currently on sale and they all decided that they wanted to get this dress and save some money so that is what we did!

I think the chiffon material will be perfect for our summer afternoon/evening wedding.

If I had to spend $200 on a bridesmaid designer dress, I'd be a little annoyed. $200 on a J. Crew dress I can wear again would make me much happier. :)

I have been looking, but I don't think I'll actually decided on a dress until December or so. My bridesmaids are alll easy and said they will wear whatever I want them to, but I also want them to at least like the dress. There are a couple of dresses I like at DB.

I am letting my girls pick which style dress they want to wear. I have different body shapes in my BP and I want everyone to be comfortable. I am thinking we will start looking September/October.

We went and took a peek but were not "really" looking. They told me they were expecting to pay about $400 though, i was like NO FRIGGEN WAY would i make you guys pay that much. They thought i was crazy trying to find something less than that. I am very limited on what they can wear unless i have my MOH where something completely different. I want my girls matching and they are ok with that, but my MOH has to wear a full bra, can't wear a strapless one so one shoulder dresses will not work, has to be thick straps, the dress i picked out that will look fine on everyone else looks HORRIBLE on her because she is bigger. I have 2 small girls, 2 average girls, 1 big girl. I am not sure what we will do, the dress shops don't even have one for her to try on because she is size 20. Will be looking more in January, if she finds one that looks good on her then i will just have her different, she can stand out anyways.

Not sure yet...my bridesmaids vary greatly in not only size but also height. They have all told me to pick what I like and that's what they will wear but I want to make sure everyone is wearing something they are comfortable in, and it would be great if they could wear it again!

I just started looking at styles. I have no clue what I really want yet. I don't even know if I want them all in the same thing, or same style different colors, or different style same color... I need to talk to my girls to see how much they are willing to spend and what they would prefer. It's ultimately my decision but I want their input and for them to like what their wearing. I guess I need to get on the ball. Haha

I've looked a little, but I only have asked my two MOHs, so I'm waiting to ask the other girls before I pick out anything. I also keep liking shorter dresses, but both MOHs have informed me that they'd rather wear long dresses. One MOH is 5'9" and wants to wear flats but not have anyone see her wearing flats, hence the long dress, and the other MOH (my sister) thinks long dresses are more "bridesmaidy" and formal. I really prefer the shorter ones for a summer wedding, plus they could possibly wear them again if they were shorter, but I'm not that big of a bridezilla to force my idea on them if they're uncomfortable in it.

I will probably pick a color/material and ask them all to get a long dress in that color/material so they can wear a style they're comfortable with. I have alllll sizes in my party, so one type of dress wouldn't look good on every one of them.

I have a couple girls from out of town that will be coming home for Easter so I thought since they would be here for the weekend it would be a good time to look. I don't think we are nessecarily going to make a final decision after one day of looking, but I do want to go to the shops with a general idea of what I want.

I did check out the dessy group and there are a few on there that I like. and I LOVED the uniquevintage site that was in AshnRobo's bio for the wedding dresses for myself! LOL, some of the bridesmaids dresses you're looking at are very cute too but wouldn't look good on some of my girls.

I've looked online for some but one of my MOH and a BM are both pregnant right now and the earliest we'll all go out is probably December of this year. Styles can change before June 2012 and my girls are pretty easy going (and all about the same body type/size/etc) so it shouldn't take long. It is very fun to look online though. I love the one shoulder Dessy dress you linked to! (my dress is one shoulder)

i haven't asked the girls yet. Plan on asking in June. We will start looking at dresses then. I am already thinking short or knee length because they could wear again and it will be summer. I have a few that I like from Alfred Angelo & DB. I want to do 2-4 styles in the same color & fabric. I really want to see the differnt fabrics and colors availbale before deciding.

i have been looking and cant find much that i like. i am thinking its mean to make my girls wear long dresses bc they are definitely wearing black, but black and long in june will be hot! i am veryyyyy picky about things so i am trying not to be bridezillaesque but maybe ii am. i am also thinking of holding off until the fall to try on etc. however, FIs sis is preggo but not showing yet... so should i look now or wit until after the baby for her?

I have found alot of dresses I like but I am nervous about how much is too much to have them pay. Out of the 6, 4 are single mothers and I know that a BM dress is an expense they can't really afford...So what do I do? I don't want to sacrifice them not looking good (or feeling good)? Then like myself they all want to lose weight so...Then my colors are red/silver and idk which color I want on the MOH and what on the BM..

I am having 3 different colors and 6 girls. So I want the same style with 2 girls each wearing the same color and all matching accessories. My problem is David's largest size is a 28 and my FSIL had to have panels sewn into it for another wedding. Does anyone know of a place that carries larger sizes?

I told the girls they could pick out any black dress they wanted - short, long, straps, halter top, sleeves, any material. I don't care - I want them to be comfortable and get something that they can wear again and that fits their budget. I picked out a wrap and a sash in blue that they all liked and they can pick either one depending on what dress they get whichever would look good with it.

I am letting them pick their dress. I will pick the designer, color, length and material. I was driving myself crazy trying to find one that I liked and would work for my wide range of girls.
